BEHOLD’S Swedish Study Method

If written Bible studies aren't your thing, or you'd rather dig into Scripture with just the Holy Spirit, your Bible, and a couple of easily memorized questions, this is the Method for you. The Swedish Study Method was started by a woman discipling college aged Swedish students, hence the name. With this method, her students were soon discipling others with these same questions.

In Meg Elizabeth's church plant, they successfully began and maintained discipleship groups of 2-4 gender-specific participants, who began to lean upon each other for support, prayer, and accountability. Lives were changed when using the Swedish Study Method.

Here’s a testimonial from Hannah Thompson, Elkins, Arkansas:

“The Swedish study method was introduced to me about 6 years ago and it changed the way I approach studying Scripture. In the past I read the Bible and dug into the Word through Bible studies that frequently spoon fed me the answers. The Swedish study method taught me to look for Jesus in everything, ask questions and research the answers, and that it’s ok to linger in one section, one chapter, or even one verse. One of my favorite parts of this method is that it’s just me, my Bible, and the Holy Spirit.”
